Starting in an industry that was heavily male-dominated, Germaine decided to forge her own legacy by creating GBL Sales, Inc., a leading sales, marketing and merchandising company. Through GBL Sales, Germaine has transformed brand founders into millionaires, with legendary brands like Mielle Organics, Curl Daze, Bronner Bros., and Luster’s thriving under her diligent sales and brand-building prowess.
But Germaine's impact goes beyond business. In 2014, she founded the Ubiquitous Women's Expo, the largest exposition for Black Women in the DMV area providing a platform for industry leading and emerging businesses to promote their brands and build an engaging community in the process. Celebrating its 10th Anniversary this year, the Ubiquitous Women's Expo has been a beacon of light, empowerment, and inspiration to everyone who attends.

Entering into her 6th decade, Germaine began seeing a disparity amongst beauty brands not speaking to Women over the age of 50. Not subscribing to the belief of anti-aging, Germaine launched her own skincare collection, IKNOW Skincare Treatment Solutions, a clinically proven collection of products which embraces and supports the movement of #RealAge.
Germaine is becoming a leading voice in Pro-Aging to combat ageism challenging societal norms and attitudes that prioritize youthfulness. As a pro-aging advocate, Germaine strives to foster a culture that celebrates aging and recognizes the unique strengths and contributions of people of all ages.
