AGE HAPPENS! And If You're Blessed... You’ll Get to See It

Let’s be honest…some mornings, I look in the mirror and the signs of aging seem to scream louder than my alarm clock. My eyes might look a little more sunken. My smile lines a little deeper. My skin not as radiant as it once was.  And for about 30 seconds… it gets to me.

Then I snap out of it because here's the truth: AGE HAPPENS, and if you’re blessed, you get to live through it. Many people didn’t get that chance.  So instead of sinking into self-doubt, I go into full self-love mode.

I burn one of my favorite candles, I blast some music with a beat that won’t let me sit still, and I start saying out loud what I know to be true:

You are beautiful!
You are vibrant!
You are still becoming!

Yes, even with wrinkles. Even with cellulite. Even with dark circles and laugh lines.

Because beauty doesn’t end with age. In fact, I believe it deepens.

And while I’m moving, dancing, affirming…I’m also nurturing my skin. Because while I embrace my age, I also honor my skin. I take care of it. I nourish it with intention.

Here’s my personal “AGE HAPPENS” skin ritual:

•  FEELS GREAT – My go-to when my skin needs that fresh burst of ahhh. It revitalizes me, instantly.

It’s about choosing joy every single day you’re blessed to wake up and live.
